New question on 9/11 [Engineer/architect group petitioning Congress for new investigation]

A lingering technical question about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks still haunts some, and it has political implications: How did 200,000 tons of steel disintegrate and drop in 11 seconds? A thousand architects and engineers want to know, and are calling on Congress to order a new investigation into the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 at the World Trade Center.

The 1962 attempt didn't work because the buildings weren't even there yet. Muslimonazis are evil but not all that bright.

This has been answered in minute, scientific detail already. The only people still pushing the 9/11 conspiracy fantasy is a bunch of loopy tin-foilers and unstable kooks.

And cynical people who want to make a buck selling conspiracy books, articles, etc. A very large percentage of those who push these kinds of conspiracy theories don't believe a word of it, but do it to make MONEY. If some "truther" really wants answers, there it is, plain and simple.

Oh please, engineers all over the world have studied and modeled the collapse and there was nothing unusual found. I could find a thousand engineers who believe that Elvis is still alive, it means jack. These truthers are getting annoying.

I have worked steel, iron and bronze for most of my adult life. I was shocked to hear from the noted expert Rosie O’largea$$ that steel does not bend with heat and pressure. Guess I have to find a new hobby.

Thermite is a commonly used in heavy duty welding and cutting for things such as railroad ties (such as subway systems) and structural support beams. It is not uncommon at all to have found some either from the construction or demolition of the site. Anyone who brings up the 'thermite' as proof of a conspiracy just proves they are an idiot.
