A lingering technical question about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks still haunts some, and it has political implications: How did 200,000 tons of steel disintegrate and drop in 11 seconds? A thousand architects and engineers want to know, and are calling on Congress to order a new investigation into the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 at the World Trade Center.

Its been proven by Hollywood celebrities that metal does not bend when heat is applied ...talk to any celebrity about it
It was probably the pig men! The pig men were behind it.
Yeah, I’m surprised at how many of these type “posters” there are on FR.
I guess they just use it to pimp their blog, column, etc.
I wish there was something that could be done about it.
The 1962 attempt didn't work because the buildings weren't even there yet. Muslimonazis are evil but not all that bright.
And of course, in the 1992 attempt, the bastard was caught when he tried to get his Ryder deposit back.
The article only raises one question for me:
What in the heck is the Washington Times doing running it?
We still haven’t heard from the marine biologists!
It's called gravity. (Well, duh.)
Well we know Rosie O’Donut has given her expert opinion on this.
Thanks... I couldnt remember the name Rosie ODonnell
Heat cannot melt steel. Rosie said so. Cased closed.
And cynical people who want to make a buck selling conspiracy books, articles, etc. A very large percentage of those who push these kinds of conspiracy theories don't believe a word of it, but do it to make MONEY. If some "truther" really wants answers, there it is, plain and simple.
No way! It was ManBearPig! Al Gore told me so.
Oh please, engineers all over the world have studied and modeled the collapse and there was nothing unusual found. I could find a thousand engineers who believe that Elvis is still alive, it means jack. These truthers are getting annoying.
It was a “missile” not a plane at the Pentagon. (i am not a truther)
Why is it they don’t understand that 4 stories of debris was left at the towers, most of it STEEL.
That’s what I’d like to know.

Thermite is a commonly used in heavy duty welding and cutting for things such as railroad ties (such as subway systems) and structural support beams. It is not uncommon at all to have found some either from the construction or demolition of the site. Anyone who brings up the 'thermite' as proof of a conspiracy just proves they are an idiot.
Another thousand engineers are rebuilding Michael Jackson as we speak!
