Lots a provocative bravado these days from the palinistas. You are screwing the pooch with this nonsense.
“You cant beat something with nothing.
Hammer hits direct blow on nail!”
That’s right. They themselves know that teh GOP has no one to oppose her that passes the giggle test.
“but we need somebody that has run more than her mouth.”
We need posters here than have run more than their running stomachs. That’s you I am talking about here.
If Rubio gets in the Senate, he would make a good VP candidate. There his relative youth cannot be held against him. Plus he is a good campaigner and hardworking.
Some people will bitch with their throats cut.
Remember that the flak is always heaviest directly over the target. If the Dhimmies and Liberatardians DID endorse Sarah, THAT would be the time to start worrying.
Let ‘em yap.
Just what is your malfunction, pissant? Why on earth do you hate Sarah Palin with such unleavened passion?
I know you wish and pray every night for Duncan Hunter to become the 45th president, but is that the sum total of your reasoning for opposing Sarah Palin as hard as the moonbat liberals?
Man, I just do not get you at all. Your anti-Palin crusade is bordering on the pathological.
“The same thing could have been said about Sarah Palin in 2006. You have no idea who is going to be a viable candidate 2 years from now.”
Sarah Palin is a phenomenon, a once in a lifetime candidate that can draw 60,000 people as the Veep candidate. Never happened before. And yes. I do have an idea who is going to be a viable candidate 2 years from now. Sarah Palin will be a viable candidate 2 years from now. Who, in your estimation, will be a viable candidate to defeat her? You cannot beat something with nothing. Let me tell you , in the word of David Broder, who is no friend of conservatives:
“Those who want to stop her will need more ammunition than deriding her habit of writing on her hand. The lady is good.”
In other words, you had better come up with an alternative and fast. Do you have one?
The hypothetical was who to turn to in the event of her demise. This thread seeks to elicit from those who doubt Palin’s ability the identity of the candidate that, they believe, can beat her.
C) Won’t pull a “McCain” and treat Obama with kid gloves for fear of being called a racist.
Time magazine, Monday, Mar. 31, 1980:
And since G.O.P. Front Runner Ronald Reagan relies upon a base of support that is on the far right wing of the Republican Party, some experts have long declared that if he wins the nomination, the G.O.P. would simply be repeating the suicidal Goldwater campaign
National opinion polls continue to show Carter leading Reagan by an apparently comfortable margin of about 25%. They also show that more moderate Republicans like Ford would run better against the President. This suggests that Reagan is not the strongest G.O.P. choice for the November election and that he clearly faces an uphill battle.
As recently as last month, before Reagan’s New Hampshire victory, White House advisers looked forward with relish to the possibility of Reagan as their target.
Ex-President Gerald Ford left no doubt about his views when he warned last month: A very conservative Republican cannot win in a national election.

They were voting against Mitt Romney, and in the general election 69% of Republican voters said that Palin helped them to vote for McCain.
Oh, come on. You're telling us with a straight face that you've never heard anyone say that "I voted for Sarah Palin"?
I don't think I've encountered a single Republican voter who claims to have voted for McCain in 2008. Not ONE.
Every single Republican who has expressed their views on the 2008 race within earshot of me has emphatically said that it was Sarah Palin that got them to pull the lever for McCain.
That certainly was the case for me. Until Sarah showed up, I didn't have a dog in the race.
Now, you tell me where McCain's voters will go.
Some of “you people” are not doing this because you think Palin is unelectable.
Your doing it because you’re told to or paid to.
It
it’s still 30 months until elections and “you people” come in here and act like pigs.
Everyone in FR either knows how to research or will know before 30 months.
You will not change anyone’s minds with your Palin attacks.
Look at yourselves. You act just like Obama and his henchmen.
Look. It is not a zero sum game. Romney’s voters will not necessarily go back to him, and McCain ‘s voters are a complete wildcard. He probably got 7 of the nine million after he clinched the nomination and they would have voted for someone else if he didn’t have it wrapped up.
Palin will draw votes form all the Columns in addition to bringing new voters and Tea Party people into the GOP.
Mitt Romney could not win the nomination against McCain last time. How in the world is he going to win it against Palin?
The Values voters voted for Huckabee because he was their only choice. Palin is much more viable and will have a lot more money than Huck. Huck won’t run and if he does, he will be an asterisk.
There are plenty of politicians who have run more stuff (but it’s about leadership, not titles) but they don’t have the guts to stand their ground against an onslaught of the Left’s smear tactics. Let’s see: McCain, Delay, Tancredo, Armey, Gingrich, Santorum. How about inconsistent conservativism: McCain, Pawlenty, Perry, Gingrich, Cantor, Ryan and the list goes on and on. So far, Gov. Palin is the only republican who has fought back and refused to apologize for her beliefs.
We’re talking about the Primaries, not the General election...are you telling me that the 9.5 million primary voters that voted for McCain are locks for Palin??
