From what I heard, granted no documentation of point of reference, simply hearsay, from those who were there (Only a few, since that is the few that I know who attended) the answer to those things are no, and no.

I don't know if Gays liked it or not, if they were conservative they probably loved it. He didn't talk about Gay lifestyle. He didn't badmouth Republicans or Democrats unless there were Progressives.
