I would consider calling that the post of an idiot, but your post speaks for itself.

Just wanted to point that out.

Then you are part of the problem instead of the solution.

Which is why people like Hatch, Bennett, McCain, Graham ALL need to be voted out and replaced with new blood... but you do that in the primaries, not the general elections by abstaining from a vote of voting third party; and in Utah, with their crazy primary system, that isn’t easy to do... and is why people like Hatch and Bennett keep their jobs.

The GOP ruckus in Florida is a good example of the problem, there are many who claim to be republican because it's where the money is, but could just as cheerfully claim to be democrats if there was a fast buck in it.

American principles will not be saved by unprincipled actors!

Instead of becoming an independent you should have joined your local GOP Women’s group and worked to change the party from inside the party... quitting doesn’t change anything any more than voting third party changes things.

Did you actually watch his speech. What was it you disagreed with? Why do Rush, Sarah, and Mark agree with Glenn? I have watched Glenn for a long time so please don't try tell me what he believes. He believes IF we can't clean up the mess in DC another party may be the only option. He believes the problem will NOT be solved by just voting the Donkeys out. He believes the Democrats Tax and spend and the Republicans cut taxes and spend. Can you prove they don't. There was a poll where the TEA party beat both the Democrats and the Republicans, explain that. I completely understand the argument about third parties and the destruction they can cause. That's how we got Clinton. I DO NOT support a third party. The fact is there are more Independents now than either Democrats or Republicans. The reason is we remember what the Republicans did when they had the ball. So who do you trust? Genius

Actually; he DID point out a difference between the two parties during his speech...one likes to TAX and spend; the other just spends.

Did you actually read my posts? I already gave an example where I disagree with the speech.

To reiterate, I said Beck's speech was "brilliant" except for several important lines.

Here's another line I disagree with.

The first part of Beck's sentence is false and the second part of the Beck's sentence contradicts the first part of his sentence. LOL!

Do you understand that?

Are you such a Beck Bot, that you will question somebody as a Du'er, who applies critical thought to what Beck says?

Why do Rush, Sarah, and Mark agree with Glenn?

Mark, Rush and Sarah of course don't always agree with Beck.

You all miss the main point and it isn’t to keep the people currently running the GOP but to change the GOP “leaders” through the nations primaries... if everyone gets off their keisters and votes in the primaries we can effect an earthquake in this country.... but we are a two-party system, the sooner people realize this and realize the way to change things is the primary, not voting third party, the sooner we back off the cliff to socialism.

Nice to see that someone here gets it...quit bitching about Beck, and clean up the GOP thru the primary process. Make sure there is a clear and distinct different between a CONSERVATIVE Republican party and a marxist Democrat one. The subsequent electoral landslides would be breathtaking...

How is my independent status a problem? I still would never vote for a Democrat. When the Republicuns stop trying to build a big circus tent and get back to Reagan Conservatism, I’ll sign on the dotted line.

But the crap I’ve been hearing out of CPAC this week don’t help. If Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are voted the top two trusted in the party, I’ll have NOTHING to do with that party.

I actually know this guy from Tampa.

Don't follow people like Glenn Beck blindly .

I actually know Neal Boortz from Atlanta in the late '60s.

Ludlow Porch, too.

So what?

When Beck's right, he's right. When he's wrong, I ignore him.

Kinda like everybody else on Talk Radio.

Sheesh!

Freereign, I think you and a few others are confusing the enthusiasm for what Beck, et. al. are saying, which is  what most of the progressive wing of the Republican Party will not!

And, bluntly, the Tea Party movement is pretty much ignoring most of the Talk Show cheerleaders while taking over the Republican party from the bottom up. Most of the hacks on both sides have missed the fact that it's not about party, it's about ideology and most especially, about Constitutional principals. Hopefully they'll continue to miss the point; right up until the rug gets unceremoniously jerked out from under them.

Then, the fun starts, IMHO...

Personally, I think that if we could ever deprogram America from the socialist dogma that has been foisted upon them by the political establishment, blood would run in the streets from the justifiable outrage. There is ONE establishment, with two heads that constantly advance the establishment's agenda I generally refer to this establishment as the Powers That Be. No matter what happens in the world, the PTB always proposes "solutions" that give them greater control over us and our lives.

Let's take the PTB's reaction to 9/11 as an example. What is the most obvious solution to a muslim with a knife, gun, or whatever trying to take control of a plane?  In a sane world, we'd have armed the flight crews, and possibly (preferrably IMO) even the passengers. Problem solved at negligable cost and inconvienience to the American public. That is assuming that you believe there was actually a "problem" to be solved in the first place. Remember that on 9/11, the flight crews and passengers were doing exactly what the government told them to do in the case of a hijacking.  The rules were to relax, cooperate, and deal with making a stop in Cuba or whereever else the hijackers wanted to go. The rules changed that day as we discovered on United Flight 93. The passengers knew the game had changed and that the stakes were much higher, so they did what came natural to real Americans. They took charge and ended the situation. Tragically, they all died, but they didn't take anyone else with them.  I would submit that there was not a problem to be "fixed" by anything the government would do. We The People have the power to take care of the situation should the need arise.

Sadly, we allowed ourselves to be suckered in yet again by the PTB that used this attack upon us to extract further control over our lives. Every single thing Fedgov did in the wake of 9/11 was designed from the ground up to enlarge their power and to make us feel small and helpless when we werent. It wasn't the government that stopped Flight 93. It was the passengers. Ordinary Americans doing what had to be done. Instead of the President going on network TV and telling us that we would have to be the front line to keep the world safe for our children, we were saddled with the TSA, the Patriot act, and countless other things that actually do nothing to make us safer, but do fit the PTBs desire to increase their power.

When people really understand the evil we face, it will get messy. I expect to see congresscritters hanging from lampposts, among other things.

Some people follow these entertainers like Beck as if they are gods.

I'd say, some people act like they are gods to make a point, here; and some actually do think that. Fortunately, the latter class is considerably smaller than presently exists in the Democrat party.

Why do you think Sarah Palin didn’t attend CPAC? One the head of CPAC has become too tight with the John Birch Society... CPAC has become a bit of a joke IMHO, starting when Romney started busing in people to support him in the straw polls, but the polls there yesterday only serve to prove what not voting wroughts..,. 25% of the attendees voted and Ron Paul one... why? The same reason JD lost his seat in AZ in 2006, when those young kids are the only one’s riled up enough to vote they vote in people most the rest of us consider a joke and just like yesterday... the students attending — who lean Ron Paul — voted, 75% didn’t bother to vote.
