How is my independent status a problem? I still would never vote for a Democrat. When the Republicuns stop trying to build a big circus tent and get back to Reagan Conservatism, I’ll sign on the dotted line.
But the crap I’ve been hearing out of CPAC this week don’t help. If Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are voted the top two trusted in the party, I’ll have NOTHING to do with that party.

CPAC has become a bit of a joke IMHO, starting when Romney started busing in people to support him in the straw polls, but the polls there yesterday only serve to prove what not voting wroughts..,. 25% of the attendees voted and Ron Paul one... why? The same reason JD lost his seat in AZ in 2006, when those young kids are the only one’s riled up enough to vote they vote in people most the rest of us consider a joke and just like yesterday... the students attending — who lean Ron Paul — voted, 75% didn’t bother to vote.
