HAHA! LOL

Out of ALL of the people I listen to, the books I read, the history I have studied, there are only two people in the public eye that GET what it is to be an average American. Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. And Glenn beck is BETTER at stating the bald faced truth with out regard for party affiliation than anyone I have ever run across.

There is HOPE because of these folks! There is HOPE because there are voices speaking to power, speaking the words we WANT them to hear!

They ignore us at their peril.

I wish Sarah the best, but she better stop backing the RINO McCain or she’s gonna blow it. Beck is great, isn’t he?

As I've stated on these FR threads, I was highly impressed with his simple articulation of the original US values and principles that made our Country the envy of the world. However, my eyes started to glaze over when he went into past presidents and how the "progressive" movement originated. I know that stuff, but Joe-six-pack-soccor mom doesn't care. He should stick to the basics of "cause and affect".

As a past activist, I've always said, "bring it home to Joe and Sally every person" and you can make a difference. We, constitutionalists need to make the average citizen understand that bigger government is going to eventually hurt their standard of living. It's a sad fact they don't care about ideology, but they do care about their finances and lifestyle.

The history lesson aside, I was actually clapping in my room when Beck started talking values, principles, self-accountability, self-determination, the importance of liberty in a free market, and the incredible affect our FF's had on the rest of the World, et al.

Pop quiz, as in the TV show "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?"
What year did the peasants storm the Bastille? You got 10 seconds. Anymore, I know you will have Googled.
