As I've stated on these FR threads, I was highly impressed with his simple articulation of the original US values and principles that made our Country the envy of the world. However, my eyes started to glaze over when he went into past presidents and how the "progressive" movement originated. I know that stuff, but Joe-six-pack-soccor mom doesn't care. He should stick to the basics of "cause and affect".
As a past activist, I've always said, "bring it home to Joe and Sally every person" and you can make a difference. We, constitutionalists need to make the average citizen understand that bigger government is going to eventually hurt their standard of living. It's a sad fact they don't care about ideology, but they do care about their finances and lifestyle.
The history lesson aside, I was actually clapping in my room when Beck started talking values, principles, self-accountability, self-determination, the importance of liberty in a free market, and the incredible affect our FF's had on the rest of the World, et al.

So true! Small business people feel it when they have to lay of their people. We laid off all five of ours and quit using a bookeeper, so we can survive on 5X less business this year. We are blessed we still have business! My hubby comes home exhausted, doing the whole business alone, the kids and I work a couple days a week too. Glenns story about working at his fathers bakery is so right on...some of us are still living that way.

That is part of his message - he's educating the masses on what the Progressive/Liberal Education System is leaving out or lying about to us.
