Ron Paul Wins CPAC 2012 Presidential Straw Poll
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
True, but the OomPauloompas would look so cool doing their chants, flips, spins, and other antics. /s
“if CPAC is so RINO then why did Beck, Rubio, and Coulter all give speeches there? Are they RINOs now?”
No. Coulter is just selling books. She goes everywhere. Ditto Beck. Rubio is running for office. Rubio at least is probably asking himself why he wasted his time up there. The Ron Paul vote will be the big news. It exposes CPAC as both a RINO group and a fringe whacko group. What an amazing disaster for this once proud group.
No, no, no... I’m pretty sure it was Pot Parties.
1. CPAC goes Log cabin
2. Jim Rob declares CPAC anathema
3. CPAC straw poll favors Ron Paul
4. Ergo Ron Paul is anathema
Actually I believe Rush is scheduled to speak at the end of the conference?? If so, I hope he cancels or I will be REALLY upset!!!
Where is that Laurel and Hardy Pic
...when we need it
somebody’s got it........??
Breaking, he also won the Pepsi challenge and when asked if people prefer Tastes Great or Less Filling, strangely enough, the answer was Ron Paul.
It is now official.
CPAC is a joke.
CPAC=Conservative Pretenders And Crackpots.
C’mon, you and I know that he’s a racist anti-Semite and an isolationist. There are LOTS of smart people here on FreeRepublic (over 400K members) and most of them have seen enough during the last election to know all about Congressman Paul. That’s why his fan base here could fit into a GP Medium tent with room left over to sleep 12.
lol. Thats not right.
That's not a good thing.
Must suck to be him right now.
Glen Beck: Everybody is saying we need a bigger tent. What is this? A circus?
That would seem to beg the question:
Why if other candidates could be voted for, and were on the agenda, why did they fail to do that?
If you look back in the posts from about 1998 to around 2006, Ron Paul was a huge hero on this site for standing against the sell-outs we had in congress and being the lone voice for true Constitutionalism. It wasn't until 2007 (the beginning of the primaries) did a large amount of freepers (the RINO Bushbots amongst us) start blasting Ron Paul with lies and then so-called "Paulbots" started getting mysteriously banned. So yes, this site has more history supporting Paul than bashing him.
With that said, I'm not a kissup to anybody. But I will stand for the Constitution and anybody who supports it, whether that be Palin, Pawlenty, Tancredo, Paul, etc.
What happened to the other 3%?
Vanishing ink.....
>> In any event, everyone should listen to George Wills CPAC speech <<
Oh, c’mon. Get serious. We all know it’s a lot more fun to bash RINO’s like George Will than it is to take the trouble of actually reading what they have to say!
“Actually I believe Rush is scheduled to speak at the end of the conference??”
I don’t think so. I think Beck is the last one. But I am not sure. I really pay little attention to CPAC, unless they are falling on their face (like they just did)and blowing up Romney(like they just did).
Where does Ron Paul stand on abortion and gay ‘rights’?
If he’s not against them, he’s not a conservative. Period.
