If you look back in the posts from about 1998 to around 2006, Ron Paul was a huge hero on this site for standing against the sell-outs we had in congress and being the lone voice for true Constitutionalism. It wasn't until 2007 (the beginning of the primaries) did a large amount of freepers (the RINO Bushbots amongst us) start blasting Ron Paul with lies and then so-called "Paulbots" started getting mysteriously banned. So yes, this site has more history supporting Paul than bashing him.
With that said, I'm not a kissup to anybody. But I will stand for the Constitution and anybody who supports it, whether that be Palin, Pawlenty, Tancredo, Paul, etc.
Maybe you could help out with #154?
That's not true and how would you know that?
You have only been here since 2008, interesting.
I recall going back to at least 2001 people were critical of Paul. People here are critical of all politicians.
I don't remember that. What name were you posting under in those days, or did you "lurk" for a decade before mustering the courage to post.
Thank you for your service....
But Ron Paul is a pretender...he is a fringe libertarian, not a conservative with libertarian beliefs.
It is fact that he despised and thought Reagan was embarassing. You can’t be a conservative and despise Reagan.
BTW, I was here when the Paul-bots invaded Free-Republic in 07-08 and many of them
are no longer among the living on this forum. RP support does not belong here IMO...
But that's just me being Conservative on a Conservative forum.
There is a reason most people at this site don't like Ron Paul and it is based on the words that have come out of his mouth which are facts not lies. You should face up to what he is and not what you would like him to be.

It was in 2007 when Ron Paul, Iraq war critic, stood with Democrats as the lone Republican to vote against resolutions in support of our troops overseas and to support unwise Democrat plans to withdraw troops from Iraq prematurely.
... maybe, just maybe, it wasnt a coincidence.
