Yesterday, for the fifth day in a row, the UK broadcast of Glenn Becks TV show was forced to run without any advertisements. This is thanks to efforts by StopBeck.com to pressure companies advertising on Becks UK broadcast.
While Becks UK broadcast has been forced to run without ads, his US broadcast has been reduced to running promos for other shows on Fox, ads from direct marketers (think exercise equipment and gold coins) and a handful of private companies headed by right-wingers.

The list of sponsors that have withdrawn their ads seems a little odd vis a vis the dates. What do they mean? For example you show Anheuser-Busch as added to the list a few days ago. I really doubt if Anheuser-Busch has advertised on Beck in the last 6 months. It's possible but I doubt it.
But in any case, thanks for posting the lists. Hopefully we can have another look in a few months and see if there is any movement one way or another.
Shouldn’t he be screeching about his free speech “rights” like another unnamed conservative talker? LOL
It looks pretty ‘Shopped to me. Of course, La Raza is pretty low-rent, so maybe that’s how their ads would look. Either way, it doesn’t matter ‘cause I already voted.
I know I should care, but his attacks on those wanting Obama to prove his eligibility have really suppressed my energy.
I like Glenn's message but I think his current apocalyptic (and somewhat defensive) tone is wearing thin.
Glenn needs to do some change-ups every now and then and not simply throw fastballs over and over and over. (Somebody else might have a better analogy...)
Shouldn’t the real question here be....how many viewers has Beck taken from his competition?
You could have every single company in the UK vow not to put ads behind Beck...but it doesn’t matter if he’s taken fifty percent or more of his time slot. This is what they really have to fear. Beck will eventually have an effect. Ad’s don’t matter. Even profits don’t matter. If you own the time slot...how can the competition ask for any real money for being number two or three?
The advertisers pay the bills for the client, (in this case, Beck, and his crew,) because they hope that enough people will see their ads to justify the cost.
Are Beck’s ratings still as high as they had been? If so, this is nothing but the lefty-elites trying to stop him from telling the truths they don’t want us to know.
I see Progressive and GEICO ads on Fox News all of the time. GEICO has the lowest rates and best customer service by far, so I will be staying with them. I could swear that I saw a Progressive ad on Beck’s show a week ago, . . it might have been put in there by the local cable company.
He may have been laughing the whole time, but his bashing of Brown was so far over the top it was waaay out of line.
Well, I’ve been listening to Beck for years, and while I don’t think he’s a prophet, I do know that things he talked about years ago, have happened. Things I couldn’t imagine happening did, and he had warned of these things a long time before he was “popular.”
So do I listen to his doom and gloom. Yes, I do, and I try not to let it get me down, but use it as a point of discussion and planning in our household to prepare for a possible worst case scenario.
We’re in Florida, we hear awful things about what could happen if a hurricane hit us dead on (which it hasn’t in years and years.) However, does that keep me from going out and stocking up every May, keeping a generator and gas, a window ac, and other supplies on hand in the event of a worst case scenario. No, I do it, because I can’t do anything to prevent a “doom and gloom” scenario, but I can be prepared if that scenario should present itself.
That’s what I think Beck’s intention is...to let his viewers know what could happen, so they can prepare.
Agree.
He’s not stable, or rational.
Beck KNEW this going in, he did an entire hour on it MONTHS ago and said (para phrasing) “I might go Broke, alienate my sponsors and FOX... and I have discussed it with the Family, but I need to do it”
“Doom and Gloom” is what is happening, shining the light on it is not “Doom and Gloom”.
JUST THINK a Trillion $ has Twelve (12) Zeros behind it
All you have to do is the simple Math, we need only to pay attention, cause we most certainly cannot pay the Bill.
TT
The doom and gloom message is most decidedly not helpful.
Glenn needs to get back to exposing Obama and the perverts and Maoists in the WH, and stop trying to get us to stockpile beans and water. :)
I'm with you. On all your points. :0)
wish you would have posted that letter..maybe we could get more people to threaten to drop their insurance.
Notice how nobody had to lift a finger to make Air America crash and burn: it died because nobody listened. The lefties can’t match Beck (or Rush or Hannity or Boortz etc.) on the facts, but reflexively resort to suppressing free speech.
Beck can say that “no boys and girls clubs were robbed in the making of this television/radio show!”
What’s so far ahead of the curve about Rush? Any individual with access to the Drudge Report and analytical skills is right alongside him. What separates Rush from the pack is his delivery or as he puts it, “illustrating the absurd by using absurdity”.

why would they pull adds from one of the most watched shows on tv...is this article for real?
