I think it was wrong for the homosexual group to shout Ryan down. Fascist liberal scum are the ones who usually want to shut down free speech. All Ryan wanted to do was speak in support of traditional values - something 99% of Conservatives agree with. Do we really want to teach our kids that it's normal for a male to sexually fetishise the excretory organs of other males? It seems common sense that most people would oppose normalizing homosexual sodomy and AIDS. Yet a bunch of militant thugs were allowed to boo Ryan off the stage. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Ryan Sorba deserves a medal for telling it like it is. Practitioners of homosexuality practice a perversion. Period.

You’re either for traditional family values or you are not.

The GOP needs to be 100% clear on this.

They’ve strolled into the tent and taken over. Where is the leadership that should be defending the traditional family? None dares speak out. This is heart-sickening. This is appalling.

GOProud represents gay conservatives and their allies. GOProud is committed to a traditional conservative agenda that emphasizes limited government, individual liberty, free markets and a confident foreign policy. GOProud promotes our traditional conservative agenda by influencing politics and policy at the federal level.
Your choice of words have not been expressed by GOProud but by you.
Got issues?

Sorba ought to be congratulated for standing up for right. CPAC is a joke. Even looking aside at the moral issue involved with having a rabidly homosexual group being a sponsor, there’s just the simple fact that GOProud is just another identity politics group of shills, just like La Raza and the NAACP. Conservatives celebrate the individual, we don’t pander to group identities.

Same guy who was the object of a lesbian rampage at Smith College in 1999 over his book about the born gay hoax — something like that. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2455382/posts

I suspect he's got enough material by now to write a book on homosexual riots suppressing free speech.

It appeared from the crowd reaction; that he was speaking at a liberal event.
Was this a DNC gathering?

This was not the way it was reported by other blogs. They said that the homosexualists started booing as Ryan began to make his prepared remarks, which had nothing to do with them. After they heckled him, though, he responded.

The homo group is a paid sponsor, of course they will get to censor the speakers.

So CPAC is really not conservative. Such a reaction foretells a trajectory heading south-left

CPAC should have learned that catering to the homosexual crowd will only result in the loss of dozens of votes in the House and the Senate. That was what precipitated the 2006 losses ~ with Mark Foley messing with former pages, and Senator Craig exhibiting his "wide stance" in the Minneapolis men's room.

The fact the homosexuals could still get into a leading position at CPAC suggests the battle is not over.

A purge is needed ~ of the homosexuals hooting at a speaker AND the people who invited the homosexuals.

Homosexuals, like RINOs should never be allowed into major Conservative or Republican party organizational leadership positions, nor allowed to set the agenda.

I agree, unacceptable.

As far as what is taught to children, NO we don’t want that!! And those fetishes you spoke of? If ONLY AIDS were the only worry, but it isn’t, the list of medical issues and diseases they are putting themselves in danger of, is endless

I've heard that there is a HUGE gathering of newly post collage grads there along with the Tea Party Express. Those who think social values arepart of the new movement are in for a big surprise. College kids don't care any more and as Cheney said it's a generational thing.

That said it's one thing to have gay groups co-sponser which they are not but another to publicly flog them. That's what gets the name "American Taliban" applied by the media.

Seems about half of the conservatives at this event were college students. As someone who just finished up withschool, I can say that a majority of my peers aren’t even close to thinking this issue through and really have no concept of the family’s role in a society. You’ll ask them what they see about the family and its centrality in a society and what changes to that structure might have, and you’ll get blank looks of dullards who haven’t even begun to contemplate that question.

They’re the same people who are going to wake up and realize they’re 38 and have a hard time conceiving kids.
