Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organization’s California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPAC’s choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he “condemns CPAC”. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

And with DADT we have currently over 13,00 gays serving in the military...I am sure they are not doing the minuette in Iraq and Afghanistan.
No one here has complained about DADT in the last years since Clinton, so lets not get ridiculous now about “In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a war on.”....
It is reasonable to have a discussion as to WHy it is not a good idea to reverse DADT at this time.

I’ve run the Homosexual Agenda Ping list on and off since IIRC 2003 and I’ve read all kinds of horrible stories about homosexuals in the military - and that’s with DADT. With open in your face homosexuals it will get even worse - so much worse that many good men and women will leave.
And where do you get the 13,000 homosexuals (they aren’t gay because “gay” means happy and carefree) in the military? Since they aren’t supposed to say anytning and no one is supposed to ask, where’s that figure from?

I commented on the article,seems to me Ryan Sorba is promoting the group,if he had not gone on a little rant at CPAC it would have ended and nobody would know who or what GOProud is.

By extending their language to cover items not specifically protected or proscribed runs the risk that one day day a different power structure will interpret it contrary to your will.
I suspect that is the case now. I also suspect your position will not prevail for the duration of human rule.
The 10th Amendment or armed revolution are the only two things humans have at their disposal...that are likely to prevail...to overturn the federal protection of abortion.
But the protection of innocent human life is all over our founding documents, including the Constitution. The founders said that this is the very purpose of government.
Why do you ignore this supremely important fact?

Ryan was totally correct.
You know in the good ol' days, homosexuality was considered an aberration by all aspects of society, therefore those who suffered from it were 'forced' or encouraged to seek help to overcome it OR if they didn't like that option, they just stayed out of sight, out of mind.
It worked quite well back then, of course the family unit was for the most part intact and homosexuality was not encouraged the way it is now, we've come a long way (down) baby, and it will not end well the way we're headed. However don't think homosexuality is incurable because it is, all Sin is.
“Gay” is antithetical to “conservative”.
And being opposed to porn makes you “pornophobic”? But it may be speculated that if the liberal use of the term homophobia is not primarily a psychological tactic, then it indicates a psychological condition on the part of those who use it, in which they imagine that all those who oppose them are fearful of them, or of being one. Or that they are homophobicphobic?
