Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organization’s California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPAC’s choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he “condemns CPAC”. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

so I unloaded truck and started driving the Porsche fulltime which had not been my original intent

I had one back in 84...an older Weber carbs Targa...today they are true comfortable everyday drivers that will do 180 or so if you want...it’s all about the tires...I run MichPS2

This was a tactic used my me because the original poster I was referring to had made a couple of posts implying I was gay because of the posts I had made.

Not so, I never implied you were gay eventho it crossed my mind you might be, so you must have me confused with another poster, and that's why both scripter and I felt you were unfairly using those liberal tactics on me.

Your defense seemed to be that we should judge gays as individuals and not with a broad brush, but their agenda is a broad brush, acceptance of their deviant lifestyle. My defense was/is theirs is not normal, the heterosexual lifestyle is, there is no comparison sexual or otherwise, so why should we accept a mental sexual dysfunction as normal and healthy?

You never did state your opinion on whether you think it is good to have gay agenda supporting groups like GOProud as part of the conservative movement or what you felt about Ryan Sorba calling them out.

I have a soft spot for humanity and individuals (plus dogs & cats)

I have no use for individuals or groups that get in my face to push their agenda - and it just so happens most of that comes from the left.

I can see the individual and like or dislike them based on their actions and how they interact with whatever group they belong to.

So in the overall tone of the thread - Yes, there is a militant aim, goal and agenda for the gay/homosexual lobby. Yes, they are trying to push that on everyone and Yes I am opposed to it - thats one of the reasons my kids are in private school.

But I have to do business with many differnt kinds of people on a personal level - which is why I judge individuals by their actions and not the actions of the group I’ve placed them in - and sometimes I placed the person in the wrong group at first.

And I don’t have any friends that are lefties - but a couple of associates are.
