From what I have heard, this nutcase “accidentally” fired a pump action shotgun three times; once into the floor, once into the ceiling, and once into her brother. And they let her go?

Yep! Delahunt is hurrying back to the U.S. to get this straight....HA! I bet his phone line is burning with people back and forth trying to figure out a story line of why he didn’t prosecute.

Congressman William D. Delahunt was the Norfolk DA at the time. The current holder of the post, William R. Keating, is investigating the entire matter.

The Wikipedia entry is very short, but he is in the line of succession of Delahunt and, most recently, Martha Coakley:

===================

William R. "Bill" Keating (born September 6, 1952) is an American politician from the state of Massachusetts. As of 2010 he is the District Attorney of Norfolk County, Massachusetts, having filled that office since 1999.

Following Martha Coakley's victory in the Democratic primary for the 2010 special Senate election, Keating announced that, should she win in January, that he would run for the vacant seat of Attorney General.

================================

He is, of course, a member of the Democrat machine, presumably made in the mold of Martha Coakley et al.

Here's his earlier state representative web page:

What are the odds that this Democrat flunky will actually "investigate" this scandalous affair. I'd say just about zero. First, a lengthy investigation. Then a quiet announcement that nothing suspicious has been found. Especially nothing suspicious against Delahunt.

This lady was a Harvardian from a well connected family. Isn’t there a law called “The Swimmer Legislation” that automaticaly buries an incident like this in the Bay State?

"...I'll have an opportunity to become debriefed,''

It's only been 25 years, after all.

"He seems particularly hot over the gap in time before the witnesses were interviewed and the omission of key facts known by the Norfolk PD from the file that State Police had turned over to the prosecutors."

Does Braintree, Mass. have such a number of shotgun murders and attempted holdups, where the police have to tackle the perp to grab the shotgun, that the police chief is too busy to read the file? This police chief is either lying or is the laziest police chief in history.

"I haven't had a real opportunity to get into the details of the case, but I suspect when I return I'll have an opportunity to become debriefed,'' the congressman told the Associated Press. Read, 'I haven't had a chance to consult with Democrat staff on what lies to use at a presser so you will not get any response from me.'
