President Barack Obama is unveiling $1.5 billion in housing help, a boost timed to his appearance in the city with the worst foreclosure crisis in the nation. ~ Obama's move, detailed by aides in advance of his town hall here Friday, is the latest by a White House determined to show it is helping families rebound from a deep recession. The downturn is taking an election-year toll on Obama's party as voter frustration builds.

Obama attended a Democratic National Committee fundraiser Thursday night in Las Vegas. His host, casino magnate George Maloof, suggested to Las Vegas Sun political analyst Jon Ralston that Obama's cash-blowing comments "were brutal on Vegas" but that the president "probably didn't feel it was too big a deal."
After the fundraiser, though, Maloof said he was convinced that Obama "really loves Las Vegas."

Maloofs want Sacramento to foot the bill for a new Kings arena. Be very nice and maybe obama will reach into his piggy bank and help out his mayor buddy who has already promised he will do it for the Maloofs?

I can imagine obama calling up Maloof and saying I need some help. I have all this stimulus money and it is going to be spent this year. You pat my back, I will pat your back.
Or, Johnson says if you want that arena, you make nice while Obama is there and you donate your casino for his fund raiser.
So nObama is putting $1.5 Billion in Las Vegas “houses”. Does he mean the ones with the red lights on the front porch?
