Two weeks ago, I said this:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BILL O'REILLY: Some of these Tea Party people are nuts. They are. They're crazy. I mean, we sent Jesse Watters down there, and he puts the number at about 10 percent that are just loons, out of their mind. Every group has that.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
And that's true. No matter what group you're talking about, you'll find loons.
Enter The New York Times, which is finally taking the Tea Party seriously. In a front-page_article Tuesday, they put forth that Tea Party people are primarily extremists. They lump in the John Birch Society, the Patriot movement, Friends for Liberty and other groups that are on the fringe.
The Times also attempts to link Fox News to Tea Party extremists.
"Talking Points" predicted this would happen; that a movement with the potential power of the Tea Party would be attacked by the left-wing media. At first, The Times ignored the Tea Party. Now it's trying to diminish the brand.
But the Tea Party people themselves should be careful. Most Americans are not ideologues. They are just folks who want a fair system and a noble country. Every time a Tea Party person threatens to overthrow the government or other nonsense, the brand gets hammered.
That being said, the Tea Party movement is at a disadvantage. There's no central authority. Every Tea Party group is different. There's no party platform other than disenchantment with big government. With that kind of structure, you can expect chaos and some extremism, which the liberal media will use that to attack the Tea Party.
"Talking Points" has always admired sincere Americans who get involved in trying to improve their country, and that is what most Tea Party people do. They are regular folks who are fed up.(continued)

I see him on BOR’s show and always mute the idiot, but I also saw him on Greg’s RED EYE and I meant to call to complain, but I fell asleep.
I really want to know how BOR managed to get him back on FNC.
The New York Times the direct offspring of Hitler and Stalin who are all anti-American left wing scum who are also idiots.
And Now - Direct From the Memory Hole:
BOR disparages Freepers...

I, for one, am growing weary of Bill OReilley saying every ten minutes or so how great he is and how his program is the most watched program on cable.
Bill OReilley could be setting himself up for a big collapse of his ego.
Bill OReilley got to where he is because of the folks who are the typical Tea Party members.
Bill OReilley should not alienate his customer base. That is a very stupid thing for any marketer to do.
Hmmmm He was a sitting U.S. senator at the time he said those wrods. As such, his remark pretty much fits the definition of communism that I learned in school.
Every time a Tea Party person threatens to overthrow the government
It appears Mr. OReilly has never read the Declaration of Independence. I think he owes our founding fathers an apology for calling them loons like that.
“I think the reason hes so popular is because he is a right leaning centrist.”
You got it, right leaning centrist is probably where the average American sits. Bill makes sense to America, even if he’s a little left for most folks here.
The Eligibility Issue will come front and center this year before the elections in November.
Lawyers Hemenway, Apuzzo, Taitz, Kreep and others will break through the Holder Justice Department this year. If that doesn’t happen, I hope JD Hayworth makes it an issue against McCain.
My best scenario is for Republicans to take back both houses of Congress, impeach Obama and Biden and install new speaker-of-the house as POTUS until 2012 elections. See tagline.
LAST TIME I HEARD THE WORD RADICAL, AS IN RADICALS, MEANT EXTREME, IN THIS CASE EXTREME LEFT. THAT RADICALS CONSIDER AMERICANS TRUE TO THE CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS AS EXTREME IS OUTRAGEOUS. I WOULD CLASSIFY THEM ASNORMAL. RADICALS ARE NEGATIVE BUT THEY USE POSITIVE WORDS TO HIDE BEHIND, LIKE LIBERAL AND PROGRESSIVE, AND POLITICAL CORREECTNESS. RADICAL GOES AGAINST THE GRAIN. OBVIOUSLY CONFUSION CAN BE FOSTERED BY SEMANTICS, AND THE RADICALS KNOW IT WELL.
Two Words: Saul. Alinsky.
Unfortunately the sheeple hear the words nutjob, radical, wacko, extremist, etc. and just blindly buy into it.
This is nothing new, been going on for decades, probably even longer. Just look what they did to smear another great American, Joseph McCarthy...
Hey BOR, 95% of the left is NUTS, verifiable idiots.
The fast forward button was invented just for this guy's show. I watch absolutely nothing live anymore for that reason.
attacking, bashing, or branding as extreme the tea party has GOP support as they NEED to undermine / diffuse the power that would sweep liberals and RINOs from power ... and put Sarah and folks like her in their place
the existing power structure is running scared
At one time Hill was a paid contributor to FoxNews and I believe that relationship was severed. I do not believe that anyone banned Hill from being an invited guest on any FoxNews broadcast. I can barely stand to listen to the guy, but I do believe that it is important that his crazy points of view be displayed for all the world to see.
I knew that black professor from Columbia University was a liberal of the worst kind but I didn’t think he was a sympathizer for black racially motivated killers where he considers them a hero and a mentor. This guy is sick. How on the earth is this guy smart enough be be considered to be a professor, every time he is on O Reilly he looks like an idiot.
I’ve heard that also, but I would truly like to know if he’s returned as a “paid” contributor. He might just like the air time.
I have Emailed O’Reilly numerous times asking why he gave Marc Lamont Hill so much face time on Fhe Factor. O ‘Reilly continues to feature Hill frequently. Often enough to consider Hill a regular.
O’Reilly did as much damage to the Tea Party people as he could in that hatchet job. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; O’Reilly is a leftist maggot with a middle of the road facade.
So ignore BORing comments, but be glad he and the others are helping to promote the movement, albeit for their own purposes.
O'Reilly's appeal is to centrists, not committed conservatives. His research is abysmal, and his thinking mostly shallow, but you're correct, he has a role to play. We need all the help we can get, as aggravating as that help may sometimes be.
