On the other hand, at this point I don't consider Sarah Palin to be a RINO. I doubt seriously I will consider that until she starts advocating liberalism. I haven't heard her do that up to this point.

I'm not suggesting Palin is a RINO...but she is campaigning for one...and it brings her judgment into question. I wouldn't discount her over this one issue, but it is a negative choice.

I think there may even be a few conservative politicians with a national following if not appeal. I haven't yet seen one who can move massive blocks of voters the way she can.

At this point I'm not aware of a better candidate, but it's way too early to come to firm conclusions on that account.

I still think the argument is premature. There is an extremely compelling event on this side of the horizon to consider first.

Absolutely.

I feel the same about it today as I did before I read her book. I think McCain could do us all a favor and retire.

If McCain hadn't picked Palin she would be unheard of east and south of the Chilkoot Pass. For her to fail to acknowledge that in any and every way she can would show a lack of class of staggering proportions. So far I haven't seen her do or say anthing that lacked class.

Maybe before it's over we will see that McCain did present a gift to the United States, and that gift is Sarah Palin.
