Opps. Rush just called Evan Bayh a dimbulb for citing gridlock and partisan bickering....LOL.
Rush is right of course.
Watch for the anti-Obama shift in the Democrat party.
According to recent polling, the Dems seem to love Socialism, so any anti-Obama election rhetoric on the Left side will be for show and votes only.
Wow....MAJOR bitch-slap!
WHACK!
It is no small wonder that Obama, Pelosi and Reid are standing after that one.
:-)
“DUs heads are exploding.”
Here’s a selection of what the jerks at DU are saying:
If that good progressive keeps his/her mouth shut about gun control, then maybe.
Bayh is worth getting rid of even if an R takes his seat in the next election.
I want to know if he got help with his decision from the Admin? nt
I think his decision was solidified by his wife’s 1099 Stmt from Wellpoint ...
Screwed.
He doesn’t vote with us anyway.
he’s going to be one wealthy ex-senator
Now he can go to work for his true constituency- whatever corporation flashed the most money
Nice going loser! Why didn’t you announce this last year to let Ind Dems find a replacement?
He never voted with the dems on anything that mattered anyway. See ya’!!!
He created his own block within the party, made up of conservatives, to fight against the party.
Uh Oh, he’s young, wonder what dirt someone dug up on him.
Besides his wife’s health insurance ties?
Looks like the Hoosiers will finally get a REAL Republican.
A deliberate screwing of the party.
I wonder if Lincoln will “retire” soon as well.
Just wondering, do you think more patrotic Dems like Bayh will “falling on their swords” in order to give the majority in the Senate back to the Republicans in order to help stop Obama’s “rotten” for America agenda?
Bayh supported Obamacare because there is NO such thing as a “moderate” Democrat.
All of them are in favor of ever-increasing nanny state government control over the lives of the American people.
At election time, with the help of fawning media, they position themselves whereever they need to be to convey a favorable perception.
For example, we have Howard Dean posturing himself to the left of Obama, demanding we go to single-payer government control immediately.
And Bayh, posturing himself to the right of Obama, preferring to put in place a scheme that will destroy the market for private insurance and eventually force everyone into government control, except a little later.
But they ALL look down their noses at the American people and feel that the people must be “controlled” by the government in greater and greater degree.
Bayh is UNFIT for any public office.
It is mind-boggling that even here on Free Republic we have people claiming Bayh is not so bad.
It is up to the people of Indiana to take the lead in sinking any hopes of this bag of dung for any public office, whether it be president of the country or dog catcher of Terre Haute.
he said it at a retreat..dont know if he said it today

I don't doubt that but I don't recall what happened with the IN primary. What ruthless tactics were employed?
I noticed Zero’s hair is graying QUICKLY and on only one side of his head....
Having a little stress party, are we?
You’re not telling me anything I don’t know or that I disagree with. I’ve never voted for a democrat in my life and I can’t name one I like. For that matter, there’s several ‘moderate’ Republicans I don’t like either.
The Demo cannot “appoint” a new senator. Evan Bayh is finishing out his term and then a new senator will take his place after the regular midterm election in November.
LOL.
Oh wow, and Obama’s snarky answer likely didn’t sit well with him.
“Then WHY did he vote for the government takeover of the country’s health care industry???”
per the democratic underground:
Bayh’s wife has ties in the healthcare sector, she just made a lot of money in healthcare oriented investments (Wellpoint), and there is talk that Bayh will go to work as a lobbyist for a pharmaceutical firm (and has had offers).
GOOD NEWS BUMP!
Larry Kudlow might be a force if he gets in....it'd be sooooo sweet to see Schumer fall.
