On Thursday, February 11, Glenn Beck exposed Texas Gubernatorial Candidate, Debra Medina, as a 9-11 Truther.
Glenn Beck:
Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?
Debra Medina:
I dont, I dont have all the evidence there, Glenn. So I dont Im not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So Ive not taken a position on that.
Hearing that the mental jury of the would-be Governor of Texas was still out, Beck sent Medina packing. Her supporters massed in cyber-mobdom to howl, Single- issue foul! Neo-con Set-up! to no avail. Post-interview polls indicate that Texans grasp that Medinas entertaining 9-11 Myths indicates a lack of reason- a faculty required to govern the second largest state in the Union.
Medinas political activities include working with Ron Pauls 2008 Presidential Campaign. Her political convictions earned her an interview by high-priest of paranoid Libertarianism, Alex Jones. Medinas response to Beck and her post-interview retraction were a duplicitous attempt to simultaneously please the Tea Party and the Tea Pauly.

The so-called logic of the article, which attempts to reframe the grossest generalizations so as to equate statist leftists with strict constitutionalists (hey, they both “dream of perfection”) is utterly absurd.
Paul’s positions can be divided into two parts - domestic and foreign policy. There’s nothing about his domestic policies (small government all the way), that a true conservative can disagree with. And his foreign policy attempts to address the distinction between real protection, and what Jefferson referred to as “foreign entanglements.” Such discrimination is long overdue, no matter whether you agree to where Paul draws the line. But he IS for having effective military protection, but also common sense protections such as a border fence and, especially, economic safety (over which China is currently targeting us, btw).
This effort to associate him with Leftists, however, treats conservatives as idiots.
GRIN --- Still, I agree with David's analysis.

Have no fear... I don't associate Ron Paul with the leftists, or the conservatives. It's the third group I associate him with -- the idiots...
I dont, I dont have all the evidence there, Glenn.
Yeah right... she is saying... "I don't have all the evidence yet that proves that Bush and our government was complicit in the 9/11 attack, but I'm still looking..."
[ ... it's out there somewhere..., doncha know... ]
LOL ...
"Have no fear... I don't associate Ron Paul with the leftists, or the conservatives. It's the third group I associate him with -- the idiots... "
I love it when a round hits the target dead center.
And Ron Paul was asked this same question by Michael Medved and gave an unequivical “No.” answer. He’s not a truther (or else is a good liar.)

Well go to a Ron-Paul meeting of some sort, and you will be accosted by Ron-Paulites, ready to fill you in on what we need to find out about the government and Bush in regards to the 9/11 attack.
I went to one such meeting, thinking it was simply a conservative meeting, here in Tulsa -- and I've never seen Ron-Paulites in action before, in force, like they were in that meeting. They wouldn't let me out of there, before I had taken a handful of brochures, papers, other documents and a DVD, to boot! LOL...
Nothing like true believers, is there?
LOL ... for sure...
But, then again, I've heard the same thing about Christians, too... :-) [hey... I'm not complaining about Christians, because "I are one..."]
As am I! ^5
This may qualify for the ping list...
Or...."I'm in lockstep with Ron Paul and I never thought to ask him for the exact talking points regarding this subject, even though I know he has talked about it many times on the Alex Jones show. But let's just say that whatever Ron Paul believes, well, that is my position, too."
Freepmail me or ping me from the original thread to get on/off the 2010 Texas Governor's Race ping list.
I don't believe for a minute that she was 'set up'- but what if she was? At least we got a deal-breaker bit of info that could save us from disaster. Putting up 'truther' Medina against the Democratic candidate would be suicide.
That's not the question I heard, Medina said. She said she thought he was asking about whether citizens should question their government. SAY WHAT?? How plain did Beck have to make it? It was a simple question; do you or do you not believe our government was responsible for 9/11?? All she had to do- as any rational, sane person would do- is answer a simple 'no'.
This idea that Beck (or anybody else) sabotaged Medina is absurd. If you cant answer did the govt have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks? you're not be fit to run for dogcatcher.
For God's sake, have any of you really looked into her platform- her background? Has this woman even been vetted?
She wants legalized drugs.
She backs gay marriage.
She is for abortion
She has not spoken to her elderly parents for YEARS. They had to find out she was runing for governor of Texas by reading the newspaper!
http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/medina-hailing-from-beeville-learned-political-skills-on-229907.html?srcTrk=RTR_95609 What does this say about this woman's character? And rumors are begin to surface about husband Noe's past associations.
Take a look at some of the statements she has made: "Its a shame isnt it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?
"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?
"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.
"I believe we too often get into race when its immaterial. (Obummer, is that you?)
I don't believe for one minute Medina's propaganda about wanting to strengthen the border! La Raza probably has her in their back pocket!
Glenn Beck has once again helped the tea-party stay in the Republican mainstreamby by weeding out dangerous fringe thinkers like Medina.
Medina is NOT representative of the Tea Party movement. She USED them- latched herself on to them. Shes a hard core Libertarian who has realized that the Libertarian Party will never win anything and that the only possible way to get herself into office is to do what Ron Paul did and wrap herself in the Republican cloak in hopes that it will fool enough of the voters enough of the time. Thank God Glen Beck outed her in time.
Retrieve your sombrero from the ring and go home Medina. You're Texas toast.
At 3:30 medina says why no police killed 9 11 http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/politics&id=7274692
