Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

Data: Professor Phil Jones admitted his record keeping is 'not as good as it should be'

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

The admissions will be seized on by sceptics as fresh evidence that there are serious flaws at the heart of the science of climate change and the orthodoxy that recent rises in temperature are largely man-made.

Professor Jones has been in the spotlight since he stepped down as director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit after the leaking of emails that sceptics claim show scientists were manipulating data.

In the meantime, look at all the changes we *HAD* to make in the last 15+ years “to save the earth.” Our computer manufacturing company had to replace simple and effective freon tanks with monsters that carried a lot of expense and safety issues. Air conditioners in older cars had to go through costly replacements because freon was no longer allowed. Major expenses were forced on companies and families, and for what?

I’m all for being a good stewardship of the earth but not when it’s forced on us by bogus science.

Gordon Brown is still Bellowing!

Methinks the lefty doth protest too much. He's in a huge fight to save his party and his position at the moment.

From what I've read, he's teetering on the brink of losing everything to the Tories.

Whether the MSM reports it or not, it is a fact and the people will find out.

Or so we hope. Much of the American citizenry is so woefully uninformed/misinformed, that they'll buy whatever the MSM is doling out.

And, that's when they even bother to pay attention.

The news blockade won't work on us, but they don't care about center-right America any more. They lost us years ago, and they know it. The pablum they dish out now is crafted solely for the sheeples, who gobble it down with gusto.

IN USA Today yesterday there was another tedious article about combating global warming without mentioning the Climate-gate controversy.

Yes......but they're simply doing the bidding of their masters in Washington.

Same with public broadcasting. It's sickening to watch them bowing and kowtowing at the alter of Rev. Algore and his Church of Mother Gaia.

The producers of many otherwise fine programs manage to work in the global warming angle every chance they get. You can't tell me that these people aren't aware of Climategate.

Isn't this similar to Sandy Berger's excuse? He was just so messy, said Clintonistas. Both belong in jail.
