Find something YOU DO LIKE & POST ON THAT THREAD. It irks me to no end how folks have to be “holier than thou” and post their disdain & how one thing or another is either below them, too liberal for them or too __________(fill in your own blank)
I note this on the Tour de France threads, movie threads, TV threads, food threads, in addition to the political threads. etc.
Now I hope the naysayers will have this out of their systems & go to a BASH Obama thread where it SHOULD be directed. Dont come back to these threads.

Thank you MFH for putting this together. Nice pix & information. I have put together more than my share of “speciality threads” to have the same thing happen.
I slept more than I would like during the opening just due to lack of sleep the few days prior, but the parts I saw were fun & impressive. The sets & lighting were amazing. The talent shared was good (and I dont care about their sexual orientation when they are giving a moving song.. okay?)
I hope there will be no more injuries & the young men & women who have devoted their lives to excellence in their chosen sport will have a great experience over the next few weeks

Actually it would be interesting to hear the announcer at the medal ceremony (try to ) pronounce the name of the Austrian guy, Gregor Schlierenzauer, who won the bronze just now in ski jumping :)

I want to see the biathlon and ski jump and bobsled myself.. and maybe a little curling. now there’s an action sport. ;-)
