Defeated just two years ago as the Republican presidential candidate and with his bonafides as a true conservative again being challenged, John McCain finds himself in a struggle to get even his party's nomination for another term in the Senate.
Conservatives, independents and Tea Party activists are lining up behind Republican challenger and former talk radio host J.D. Hayworth, reflecting a rising tide of voter frustration with incumbent politicians. Only 40 percent of Arizonans have a favorable view of McCain's job performance.

Agreed. There have been quite a number of threads on the topic of Palin making an appearance to support McCain. I don't think anyone in the forum is focusing on what it might mean for McCain. Everyone is focusing on what it means for Sarah. In particular, those who don't like Sarah are trying to use it to make trouble for her.
What I would expect, if she does make an appearance, is that she will give him general words of praise as a patriot and a man who has served his country, and say that it was an honor to have been chosen as his running mate in 2008.
I doubt that it will persuade a single conservative to vote for McCain.
What an egotistical menace. I hope he goes...and takes his nanny statist twin Mike Bloomberg with him.
Sorry to post that to you twice. I left the computer for a bit, hit reload to see if my post had made it online, and didn’t see it.
I reposted and then realized my cable modem had disconnected and reconnected during it’s sleep cycle. Boing, soon as I posted the second time both posts showed up.
He's scared and desperate is what that says to me. Never mind if they could help him, which I don't think they can.
Thanks Arthur. No love lost here, as I’m sure you have divined. LOL
I just pray that Hayworth is up for this. If so he should bury McNasty in a few days and never look back.

Hayworth’s first national endorsement was a fellow congressman from CA.
Strange when you think about it, McC & Kerry are 'good friends'--hero in 'Nam and prisoner in Hanoi while Kerry accepted 3 Purple Hearts for scratches then came home and turned rat.
The vast majority of conservatives know Sarah is being classy and courteous to McCain, but are not going to be swayed by her endorsement.
LOL!
“Only 40 percent of Arizonans have a favorable view of McCain’s job performance.”
If you deleted all the left wing East Coast Scum who retired out here, it would be less than 20%.
Was this what she meant by the young revolution? Helping the other side win? What a ditz, keep it up valley girl, oh I mean. like republican progressive like....he he he he he he
I hate to burst the bubble on Mehgan McCain, but 80 % of my friends here in Arizona never heard of her. ;-)
Not to worry, bub....Kyl is next!
Its not just McCain and Hayworth. There are others like Chris Simcox who is the leader of the Minutemen. If you all were serious you’d tell the others to back out.
Former U.S. Congressman.
He might win, but I wouldn't put my own money on it right now.
Yeah right... What’s wrong with Kyl? He’s the third ranking official in the US Senate and at one time was thinking of running for the presidency in 2012 with McCain’s backing and in charge of his campaign for the Pres in AZ.
