This is phenomenal news. Simply the best news I have heard all day. I have always said be thankful for stupid enemies, but Dingy Harry is the bets enemy any person could ever hope for. (1) It stops any more government spending on pork. (2) It makes it look like the reason there isn't another jobs bill is because of the Democrats. After all we can say we offered a bill and you slapped it down in one day without even a debate. (3) I will show the futility of negotiating with the Democrats and hopefully keep the RINO’s on the reservation until November.

In addition to all the reasons you mentioned about the good that comes from Harry Reid’s reflexive rejection of this jobs bill, I also thought that Reid’s summary rejection of the bill will also serve to make moderate democrats want to want to support future Reid agenda items even less.

Reid is very foollsh (fortunately) to keep alienating members of even his own party! What a jerk!
