Texas has a ridiculously weak governorship by design. The power rests with the Lt. Governor.
Our legislature meets once every two years for about five months, and the governor's job is to basically veto any garbage that comes across their desk.
If you can point to specific policy directives from Mrs. Medina that might be damaging, please feel free.
Otherwise butt out.
Hey Texan My response: Myself and others have already commented numerous occasions on our objections of Medina's run for office. I'll assume you have studied her as well and arrived at your own conclusions. We disagree. But all are welcomed to voice our opinions unless this thread is a caucus.
.....”Otherwise butt out”.....
Not a chance I'll butt out...just as I commented on other threads concerning other candidates So also will I continue to comment on Medinas threads. Furthermore one does not have to reside in the state of an election to affect that election....or the candidates that run. Medina is a candidate I oppose, and as much if not more so in Texas. Additionally I was in contact with her campaign office early on in her run in order to determine her stance on issues. So of course I will not butt out.. and you are out of line saying this...but of course you free to object.
