There are endless billions to be made brokering carbon offsets. They aren’t going to quit. If they could close the deal with “global warming” then its global warming. If that doesn’t work, they’ll trot out “climate change”. If that doesn’t get it, they’ll keep coming up with one pretext after another until they manage to throw something up against the wall that sticks.
Controlling carbon means you control every aspect of everything from the greatest decisions of industry right down to the most intimate personal decisions you make in your home, nothing is beyond the reach of carbon law. And carbon offset trading lets you take a percentage of everything everyone ever thinks of doing from now to eternity, they have to ask you for permission to do it and then they have to give you a cut up front for doing it.
With that much power and that much money on the line they are never going to give up. Gore is a buffoon. But behind him are some very serious people.
