Prior service perhaps, but all medical personal, to include all physicians, who work for the Department of the Navy, actually work in the Navy. There are no Marine Corps medical MOS's, FWIW.

I was always taught NEVER to piss off my doctors because they can determine life or death. I wouldn’t want to tangle with a Marine either.
