I, for one, honor him for his military service as a Marine, and for his time in Vietnam, for which he received a Bronze star and two Purple Hearts.
Since he has only died today, I will say nothing more. All of us are a long time dead. There will be plenty of time to be as insulting as one likes in the months and years to come.
Rest in peace, and may God show mercy unto him.
Just like Murtha showed to the men and women in uniform during a time of war.
I hope Murtha gets his just rewards wherever he ends up.
