Chris is a journalist. Journalists ask the hard questions. He could have been far worse, asking intrusive questions that had no bearing on Sarah’s past or future, with the purpose of being “snarky” or damaging her in some way — but to me it doesn’t seem he did. Of course, my perception could be different from others. If so, my apologies. I’ll go back and watch it again. My point is, if we expect journalists to lob us softballs like so many do for Liberals, we’re dreaming; and in a nation that should pride itself on the Bill of Rights, we should not expect the media — ANY media — to give ANY politician a pass on the “hard questions.”
