Congrats to Drew Brees...an Austin-area kid whose crazy mom committed suicide in the past year.

Was traded to New Orleans because San Diego wanted to play Philip Rivers.

Knocked for being too small, had a sore shoulder, etc.

I’m very happy for him tonight.
