After reading Sarah’s book and seeing how she has worked as a leader all her life, I think she’s right for the job. She is a team leader, like she once was as captain of her basketball team.Excellent comments Cicero, Thank you!You don’t need someone who tells everyone what to do. You need someone who can bring out the best in all the members of the team. And I think she can do that. She did it as mayor. She tried to do it as governor. This speech confirmed it for me.

I get such a kick out of Hillbuzz. Guess they remind me of the mid 1970s before the New Left made gays into a protected species and many gays became radicalized. Had some real laughs with gay friends in college and at work. Today I avoid any I meet because chances are they are leftist nutcases and I don’t want to hear the nonsense. Yeah I know this is unfair and there are probably some decent people I’ve missed knowing. Maybe things will change back to how they were.
It was a pretty huge room. I just looked at the Opryland web site, it’s 18,000 SF, and can hold more than 1200 at full capacity. I bet it had more like 800-1000. There were some dead spaces that would have been very poor seating (blocked by screens and such) and thus unusable. Kudos for the TPN Convention people for NOT using it. LOTS of press was here. Relegated to the back of the room and the edges. Which was nice - and appropriate.

Bachman was worried about ethics issues as a sitting Congressional Rep. Why do you care how much Sarah was paid? Did you write a check? If not, what do you have to grouse about?
I did, and I didn’t mind, and those I talked to here about it didn’t, and I talked to at least 12-15 about this issue specifically.
