LIVE STREAM Tea Party Convention Sat (NOW Sarah Palin LIVE!)
PJTV.Com ^ | February 6, 2010 | PJTV

Posted on 02/06/2010 7:41:20 AM PST by Syncro

Amy Kremer of the Tea Party Express on now.

She is saying the bickering is unnecessary, and we need to support each other.

Don't back down because of negativity of some.

If you don't like what another group is doing, ignore them

We have one chance, and the time is now

We need to stick together.

Today is Ronald Reagan's 99th birthday!

JD will, but Palin’s active support of McCain will not help, especially since she felt the need to praise McCain effusively as keynote speaker at the first Tea Party convention. As someone who has been very active in the Tea Party movement, I can say that McCain is not well-liked in the movement and is seen as part of the problem, not the solution. It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that McCain requested that she mention him during her speech.

The media were crawling all over that convention - and I didn’t recognize any of the ones I saw.

But Chris Wallace of Fox flew into Nashville on the same plane I was on so I know he was there somewhere and understand he will be interviewing Sarah tomorrow morning on Fox.

Sarah Palin was spectacular - but shhh don’t tell the LSM...LOL.,...they still think she made too much money for her speech!!!

I personally don’t like to see anybody suspended or banned. Perhaps it will be a 30 day ‘breather’ - and MSN (I mean MNS) can return.

She is a team leader, like she once was as captain of her basketball team. You don’t need someone who tells everyone what to do. You need someone who can bring out the best in all the members of the team. And I think she can do that. She did it as mayor. She tried to do it as governor. This speech confirmed it for me.

Very well said, thank you, I agree.

The best 'leaders' I have ever worked with and for are those who listened to ideas and accepted valid criticism, instead of commanding activities. Too many people allow their egos to turn them into martinets, ultimately damaging and squelching the team spirit and camaraderie so evident in our greatest teams - the Rangers and Seals.

I'm not too fond of bio books, but her's was a great read, well worth the price. Run, Sarah, Run !!

Foreign policy is not central to the movement. I marched in the 912 event in Washington as well as the follow-ups.

She's not taken any of his positions that conservatives don't like.

Not one.

I'm not going to be upset if she supports him, I may not like it, but it's not a deal killer for me. Loyalty is an important attribute too.

And even if he loses in the primary, if she calls on his support to run for president later, she'll get it.

Pretty smart for a dumb lady, yes?

And she several times commended the “contested primaries” as being the epitome of what our Democracy is all about since it is the way or should be the way that the American people (voters) get to closely examine the positions of the candidates on the issues they care about - and thereby VET these candidates for the race against the Dem/lib in the regular elections.

I believe she was clearly endorsing the primary challenge against John McCain (as well as, of course, other primary challenges that will be happening with conservative candidates vs more liberal candidates).

Let's take our Wonderfully beautiful historic Country BACK, just as our Founders would have wanted.

You're damn right they would want us to take our Country back. In fact, I would venture to guess they would say, "What the hell are you guys doing in your bunny slippers punching on that gadget when you could be meeting locally, forming militias, getting active in local politics, and start taking back the Sacred Republic we gave our blood for!?"

Sir, Yes Sir!!

She gave one quick blurb about McCain, mentioning him by the way of talking about what she said in 2008 about OBAMA during the campaign, you are acting like she was blabbing all about him....look I don’t like McCain, I wish she didn’t support his campaign this year, but I like her ideas and I won’t allow a disagreement between one guy she supports and her being possible the next President stop me from supporting the overall cause....

Dang, I wish I had thought to put up a post earlier in the day looking for FReepers here. I was posting from my cell phone in the banquet.

I’ll hit you with a FReepmail in a minute. Oh, and see my response to a Sarah detractor in post 900. I think you’ll like it.

I am thrilled you attended and got to see her in person!!!
The room has been described as “electrified” — good enough description?

From my view watching C-SPAN, she was loved and she gave her love right back! Yes?

You were there!!!

Color me jealous.

What a terrific speech by Sarah. It was like the mantle of Ronald Reagan fell on her shoulders tonight—and no better person to receive it.

President No. 45. Game on.
