Yesterday, The Hill reported that Patrick ("Patches") Kennedy took a swipe at Scott Brown:
"Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) election has been shown to be 'a joke,' the son of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) said Thursday.
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) castigated Brown for having pushed to be sworn in ahead of schedule to permanently fill the Senate seat left vacant by the congressman's father's death in August.
'Brown's whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama's appointment to the NLRB,' Kennedy said Thursday."
Today Howie Carr of the Boston Herald reviews the Kennedy family's "greatest hits" as he reports that Patrick's reelection to Congress from Rhode Island is in jeopardy:

Really? Kennedy doesn't think the people of Massachusetts deserve representation if that vote doesn't match his personal agenda? I wonder how that will play with The People of Massachusetts.
Interesting that he would call it a “joke”. I guess sometimes we make fun of things we don’t understand. He is afraid.
The end of the Kennedy clan’s corrupt, immoral and unethical influence on American politics is coming into view; I can’t wait. After 80 plus years, this malodorous crew will finally be expunged, and not soon enough. There is a God, and He is just. Amen.
Drunk talks as drunk is.
With the passing away of the swimmer (now the floater), the remaining Kennedy clan (including the present governor of California) will just quietly get into the family Oldsmobile and ride away into the sunset.
Kennedy’s elitist attitude has a hand in the reason people of Massachusetts went for Brown. How dare a commoner usurp the Kennedy entitlement!
Damn. You owe me a monitor washing!!! LOL.
Don't worry Patches...the "joke" is coming soon and it will be on you...
Patches is the joke that keeps on giving, and this November his rehab will be on full alert after the election to dry him out again. Wonder how long that Kennedy cash will last when the whole bunch them have no jobs. If it wasn’t for the Federal government job, what would Patrick be qualified to do?
dude...is he even qualified for that? As far as I can tell the only thing he is qualified to do is take lot’s of pills and whiskey...
I guess Patches... the joke's on you.
Druggie talks as druggie does .
The real joke is the Congress of the United States, and mambers like “Patches” who were trying to shove through every stinking bill they could before Brown’s arrival.
Going against the Constitution by voting with an ineligible voter.Against the sworn oath that each of them took.
If Scott brown is a joke, the Democrats arent laughing.
There is only one word association here JOKE=PATRICK KENNEDY.
Patrick is a nobody whose only credentials are his last name. This shallow individual is part of the elitist, titled group of officials that have no real clue on how to govern. “this is Teddy’s seat, and only a Kennedy or Kennedy clone should occupy it”. Please go away!!!
Brown has it right. It is the people seat. Vote them out as soon as possible. Remember this stimulus, the cap and trade and Obamacare. Vote them out in 2010, 2012, 2014 or whenever we can get them out.
The only people who are laughing now is anyone that knows who Patrick Kennedy really is. The dems are scared....really scared.
And a good joke it was. I haven't stopped laughing since. My stomach hurts, I'm laughing so hard.
Why aren't you laughing, too, soon-to-be-ex-rep. Kennedy?
Have a few drinks Pat, & maybe you will see the humor in it.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Dont worry he was probably just stoned and finding everything funny
Since he is a Kennedy, the first follow-up question would have to be, “Do you remember where you parked your car last night?”
Your old man was a murderer a-hole
