So par for the course as far as sunspots go? Elsewhere I’ve been hearing that a weaker than normal sunspot cycle may have had a hand in the ten year hiatus we’ve enjoyed from global warming.

2008-2009 there were months in between a single weak sunspot, blank sun , now there are usually 1-2 sunspots on the earth facing side in the past two months, the beginning of a new solar cycle. A few weeks back I believe there were 3 sunspots on the earth facing side. I don’t know if that’s normal for sunspot activity or not.
