No, fatima— Thank YOU! {{hug}}
Below are some other great songs in this genre.
One of the Fab Four's better songs. I like the original version by Arthur Alexander of New Orleans, which scored in the fall of 1962 and is available here.
I like “Wee, Wee Hours” better than “Maybelline.” Stick McGhee & His Buddies recorded a different song with that same title from 1952 which really rocks—however I don’t think it’s available online. I had to send to Germany to get it on a CD.
I always considered that a food song--about fruit that comes from palm trees.

My pleasure, Boss!
;0)
Can we go to town this weekend?
LOL
How about Breaking Up is Hard to Do by Jivin' Gene, from the the late summer of 1959?
Indeed, they are, but here's one--Rock and Roll Waltz by Kay Starr.
Hi Fatima!
“The Break Up Song” by Greg Kihn.....
jk
Right now it’s “Already Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. At least i think it’s a breakup song....
Thanks Fatima and MsBehavin taking the time to entertain our troops. I really appreciate what our troops are doing for us at this most dangerous time that we live. My prayers go out to them to stay safe and get the bad guys so freedom can continue for this great republic we live in. Thanks Troops!!! You are all super!!!
