I’m still waiting on a couple orders (cooks garden, parks), but everything else, with a couple exceptions, has shipped (baker creek, jungs, burpee, gurneys, pinetree, thompson & morgan). Jungs was out of peanuts and Baker Creek was out of Lady Godiva Pumpkins. I’d love to grow my own (naked) pumpkin seeds for flour. Finally got peanuts from Gurneys.
If anybody knows where I can get Lady Godiva pumpkin seeds, lemme know!
I’m hoping to have a fairly large garden this year. Weather cooperating, of course.
Lowe’s and WalMart have plenty of seeds locally.
The Jung’s conglomerate (Jung’s, R.h. Shumways, etc)has a naked-seeded pumpkin, called Snack Jack. Its a hybrid, but this year I’m going to start trying to breed it into an open-pollinated.
I believe you can get Lady Godiva seeds from Seed Saver’s Exchange. You needn’t be a member.
If this isn’t correct and you can’t find the info, FReepmail me and I’ll dig up the seed packet.
The only seeds we have in our local Walmart are the American Seed Company Seeds. 20 cents a packet. Those are the ones I was looking for. We bought some Acorn Squash seeds last year and the grew just great. I imagine they’ll get their regular seeds in soon.
Thanks for shopping with Jung’s! You’re keeping me employed! :)
