Perhaps because they became far and away the biggest beneficiaries of corporate money after McCain-Feingold became law.
Democrats have been busy derogating the recent Supreme Court decision which allegedly opens the floodgates of corporate spending on election-related advertising, somehow tainting elections.
But will the decision, in actuality, negatively impact Democrats? If not, why the negative reaction?...

Easy. Because campaign finance reform will handicap Republicans. With Democrats, rules are for the other guy. Democrats will simply ignore these campaign restrictions since they know nothing will ever be done about their violations. Republicans on the other hand can expect to be hounded by mere accusations which will effectively marginalize their campaigns.
Because the liberals prefer a stacked deck, to hell with the Constitution?
Because the unions are ticked that they don’t have an unfair advantage via soft money?
Because Demonrats scream about fairness, but have no knowledge of the actual definition of that word?
If corporations do not have the sames right as people to first amendment protection, under what authority does congress tax their income?
Democrats got the money from corporations those years because they were on the upswing and would be making the new rules. But now they are on the downswing so corporations will support republicans again. Those in power get the money.
