Am I a Kool Aid drinker? Well, this morning Im actually a coffee drinker. The Kool Aid pitcher in the Swindle-Bey household fridge is just about empty right now.
I bring it up because apparently Fox News commentator Bernie Goldberg seems to think he knows what Im drinking these days.
Last night I did a few live-blogging posts about the OReilly Factor. These were my comments about Bernie Goldbergs appearance:
First here:
The Hard Right is behaving more and more like the Hard Left and thats very troublesome. Bernie Goldberg on The OReilly Factor right now.
I find it odd that Goldberg is criticizing the Hard Right but does not have the guts to name names.
Its also strange that Goldberg has to poke at unnamed conservatives for tweaking Obamas 57 states gaff and for putting dijon mustard on his hamburger.
And then here:
Coincidentally: Bernard Goldberg is back on track in his commentary after his previous segments wimpy criticism of the Hard Right.
Hes pointing out that the New York Times coverage of the recent arrest of James OKeefe is far greater than their coverage of the ACORN scandal which OKeefe unearthed. This is a fantastic albeit rather obvious point. Yes, the Times is going to gang up on a Gen Y conservative activist instead of doing real journalism about a corrupt leftist organization.
Who could have seen that coming?
Bernie didnt care for my remarks and decided to respond here at NRB:

He's admitted on his shows he's in awe of O'Reilly. It's like being in high school and finally being admitted to the jock clique after years of jock-clique worship/envy. Now that they're presenting a show together and have become traveling buddies, more of same is in order and O'Reilly's "leadership" throne is kept out of competitive jeopardy/peril.
BOR and Bernie are afraid of touching Soetoro’s ineligible question, they are enablers of a treasonous voting scandal and totally crooks!!
he did name names. He said Glenn beck.
Always remember that Goldberg was a Democrat when he was working for the main stream media. I see him as a quasi-conservative. Not the real deal.
He is a windsock.
I agree with you. If one believes they are the same they should look at the Principals of the Republican party. The platform is very good. I don’t know how anyone can say they are the same.
I have a question? Did anyone notice when O was comparing the ratings of other net works to Fox that he called Fox the Factor?
“He is a windsock”
Ok, whatever you say buddy.
I was with Goldberg on this one until he claimed that O'Keefe was pulling "shenanigans" and got caught.
That is where me and Bernie disagree most vehemently. IIRC Bernie used to work for CBS. I wonder if he would claim that 60 Minutes were up to "shenanigans" when they went undercover to record people doing illegal activities?
Bernie was being condescending and BOR was backing him up on that point. O'Keefe was doing the job that the Mainstream Media (including FOX) won't do! He was showing the filthy underbelly of the beast known as Congress!
