Not to dismiss the political insight of the junior Senator from MA, but I think in light of 0bamacare and its unpopularity, and the results and resulting comparison to Romneycare - Romney’s “stock” cannot help but to have gone DOWN.

And he was never that popular, so down from not much, he lost the nomination to McCain, a lackluster candidate if ever there was one.
