It's going from an Oklahoma Ice Storm to an Arkansas Ice Storm now... it seems...
Goodbye for Oklahoma (although we won't be seeing the end of it until tomorrow...) ... :-)

Here's what's been going on in Oklahoma, before it got to Arkansas... Previous FReeper articles on the current Oklahoma Ice Storm, which is what is moving over to Arkansas and the East Coast...
A good link for detailed weather forecast information in this area, updated all the time (given by FReeper "T-Bird45")...

[... When it says there is no briefing, it means that they are preparing another one right at that time and it will be out shortly. They keep updating it all the time. And there's a bit of "Arkansas information" in there, too...]

Bump...have to get ready to go pick up the kids from school (hey, at least they get to count it as a full day of school!) No basketball this weekend! I wasn’t looking forward to two games tomorrow afternoon anyway :)

Is it predicted to arc up north? If so, how far up until it heads over the Atlantic?

Our local weather guys said we will probably miss it or miss most of it, but the states to our south such as West Virginia and Maryland may get hammered.
Anyway, to all of our Freepers and their loved ones in the path of the storm: stay safe and God bless and protect you.

Got back about 10 minutes ago from picking up the kids from school...oldest daughter said that some kids left before lunch. It’s now a mixture of snow and rain and miserable. I noticed the Catholic school next door letting out as we pulled up (yes, my kids go to another Catholic school with another one literally outside our front door—go figure). I didn’t see the public school on the other side of us letting out, but maybe they already did or will soon.
Saw the ambulance (from the station down the block) go out on a run as I left to pick up the kids...probably not the last time today, I’m sure!

We have had a steady down pouring of sleet here in North Little Rock.
We're all hunkered down anticipating a nice comfort meal of corned beef and cabbage IF the power stays on, LOL.

Tennessee ice storm now, and snow and sleet, and freezing rain, and snow again.
