He has a presidential look about him ... this is his chance to sound like it. Maybe not for 2012, but it'd be a good set-up for 2016, if that's their electoral calculus.

The Governor is outshining Obama with a million candlepower. And, he reminded everyone the Republican plans are availabel online and not in a 1000 page bill nobody has read, and was put together behind closed doors with special interests. Love it!

All I can say is what the heck am I doing wasting my time in Michigan? I’m moving to Virginia. This state will move far ahead of the rest with an attitude like that at the top.

Gov. McDonnell.... an ok performance but still pretty weak & limp wristed IMO. Whenever GW Bush gave his SOTU, the demoRATs ALWAYS responded & rebutted with a personal vindictiveness & vengence, and responded to very specific things that they would attack GW Bush & the Republicans.

Last year Bobby Jindahl's speech was pandering & conciliatory to 0bozo, and McDonnell's speech was pretty bland. Why can Repubs ever go on the offense and specifically call out the socialism & destruction of America that Obozo's policies will lead to.

Just a weak, vanilla response IMO.
