I posted this to the thread about pro-abortion groups protesting CBS for carrying a commercial of Tim and his mom. Seems to fit here also:

The media, whether it be print or visual, including the sports media, will vilify Tebow at every turn. They jump him for his religious and political beliefs or his unorthodox way of delivering a pass. Or, as in the sports media, both! Go Tim!

I disagree. Most in the media fall all over themselves when talking about Tebow. The backlash is against the media love affair with him. Here is a bit about Tom Brenneman’s over-the-top praise for Tebow in the 2009 BCS Championship game:

Tebow’s ability to excell as a pro quarterback has been routinely discussed this year. I’m not saying Tebow isn’t a good person or a good role model. I’m only saying he is, for the most part, loved by the media.
