All to pathetic. We have way too many 'masked'- and unmasked - enemies; domestic and foreign, working within; and ALL with intentions of remaking America in frighteningly un-American images; while using our Constitution and America's most powerful address to do so.
We can measure their success by the incremental advancement of their noxious and toxic MO's; OR, we can just test regularly; America's eyesight/hearing; and corresponding levels of commitment to enemy-enabling, political correctness.
OR. . .perhaps there is just a magnetic meter that can give a seismic reading per America's death wish.

The restored tolerance for American communism that grew out of the wartime alliance with the Soviet Union did not long survive the victory over Hitler in the spring of 1945.
~ It certainly did!
Though there was an ostensible revival of the Popular Front collaboration between Communists and liberals during the war, it was a temporary and essentially superficial phenomenon.
~It was not!
The party’s patriotism did little to overcome the hostility of its traditional enemies or make it any more popular with the general public. And once World War II ended and the cold war began, the Communist party again came under attack.
~Not enough!
