Cardoza Declares & Smears [Robert Costa]
Outside the Speaker’s office, Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D., Calif.) says there is “silent majority” in this country that wants Obamacare, and that’s why he’s voting “yes.” He says he doesn’t take “tea-bag” protesters seriously, because, to him, “they’re being trained . . . and awfully loud. So loud.”
Cardoza had previously been opposed to the “Slaughter solution.”
“There was a tea-bag training in my home district,” he laments. “It talked about being a tea-bag terrorist. They’re training these people to get in our faces.”
