I thought the same thing — jubilant even. I’m ignoring it til I see some hard, cold facts.
Marco Rubio Casts His Vote [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
Or, at least, registers his opposition to the likely votes of Florida representatives he calls out Allen Boyd, Suzanne Kosmas and Kendrick Meek by name in his latest campaign e-mail and their likely votes tomorrow:
On behalf of over 10,000 Floridians who signed our Scrap It petition and millions more who oppose ObamaCare, I urge Floridas entire Congressional delegation to vote against this proposal. Across our state today, Floridians are partaking in rallies, tea parties, vigils and other expressions of opposition to ObamaCare. They are rightly concerned that the unthinkable is about to happen our countrys leadership is about to take the first step towards government-run health care that we cant afford and that will fundamentally re-define our health care system and economy for the worse.
I am particularly dismayed that Congressman Boyd and Congresswoman Kosmas are ignoring their constituents by suddenly deciding to switch their votes at the 11th hour. U.S. Reps. Boyd and Kosmas join Kendrick Meek in disregarding Floridians who believe that the current plan should be abandoned in its entirety. Time is running out, but its not too late for them and other Democrats to save their constituents and our nation from the lasting consequences of this ill-fated plan.
