Which is why I keep posting Obama’s War on Seniors...we gray hairs have long memories of our parents stories of the Great Depression. My mom and 5 sisters wore under pants and slips made out of flour sacks. Survival Gardens may be in order.
I grew up in the 50s, in a household of 12, in a two-story flat. The residuals of the food line still held. We lost alot, including my parents giving two children up for adoption for lack of being able to feed them.
We came out of that so strong Gail. Made me who I am today.
I had one little panda as a child, never got that ‘mama’ doll I craved. That poor panda had to be pried from my little hands.
