The freeze would cover the agencies and programs for which Congress allocates specific budgets each year, from air traffic control and farm subsidies to education, nutrition and national parks.
But it would exempt the budgets for the Pentagon, foreign aid, the Veterans Administration and homeland security, as well as the entitlement programs that make up the biggest and fastest-growing part of the federal budget: Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
The payoff in budget savings would be small relative to the deficit: The estimated $250 billion in savings over 10 years would be less than 3 percent of the roughly $9 trillion in additional debt the government is expected to accumulate over that time.
The president, in his State of the Union address, also will propose to create by executive order a bipartisan commission to reduce the debt - assuming the Senate on Tuesday defeats a bill to establish such a panel by law. The presidential commission, like the one proposed in the Senate, would be required to produce a package of entitlement savings and tax increases by December for Congress to vote on.

No new Air Traffic Control system. Frozen defense spending. Huge slush fund to payoff campaign contributors. Quit paying for what the Feds should, but keep paying for things in the vested interest of the democrat party.

With all this debt, the “freeze” is a calculated political trick.
It means nothing.
Its like dropping your pants and doing a wee wee on a forest fire.
Just an election year trick and gimmick.
I remember that during the Bush years a good portion the extrodinary spending was tacked on to DHS bills. So whatever items are not included in the freeze will all of a sudden become associated with things like polar bear DNA and condom museums.
It’s a sham.
Spin, projection, smoke & mirrors, lies, theft, void of any honor and treason.
That’s just some of what Obama has taught us to expect from him and his tribe of traitors.
Those spots won’t change.
How about a huge cut to welfare and food stamps. That shit is getting old.

Then buying 10 loaded 30RD clips for each.

Every political move will be to attract the Independents to minimize the damage in November.
