You summed it up nicely with Were tired of you at least we dont cheat on our taxes, at least we pay our bills and dont call maxing out the charge card stimulus, and at least when we say we are going to do something, we do it. The arrogance of the current political crowd precludes their comprehension...

Another great column by VDH. A couple comments:
[T]he lefts sudden petulance and occasional hysteria [is] akin to the climate of 2005-6 among some of the right when the once pro-Iraq War neocons began bailing and heading for the exits.
This is why it isn't enough to know what policies a politician supports. You need to know why as well. Otherwise you'll just be taken by surprise when today's ally becomes tomorrow's enemy.
Oh yes, Barack those who voted for a conservative in Massachusetts surely are the same sort of angry voters who turned out in droves for your hope and change mantra.
Actually, in many cases, they are the same voters, and we would do well to remember that. A lot of independents voted for Obama in 2008 and Brown in 2010. My take is that they were so angry with Republicans (with good reason, unfortunately) that they were willing to buy into the half-assed lip service Obama gave to moderate bipartisanship and to fiscal responsibility.
However, their anger at Republicans is now replaced by anger at Obama and the Democrats for being sold a false bill of goods. That it was largely a result of their own willful blindness is not something they're prepared to admit, and I don't think it's something we can really call them on if we want their continued support. And make no mistake - we need their support.

This is about the angriest screed by Hanson that I have read.
We are all reaching our tipping point.

Linguistic extortion I like it. That will be my answer to any politically correct rebukes.
