Holy smokes! JD is telling us this is his last hour on the air!
He is saying he will be heard from again in the public arena.
Explain to me how a scofflaw, a criminal, a law breaker, should be given precidence over people who obey the law.
that friggin simple.
By golly, you do know JD.
He's a nice enough guy and I'd rather sit and shoot the bull with him than with McCain but he's a doofus, a garrulous doofus.
My positions on the issues are more consistently Republican and conservative. I notice that you no longer classify yourself as a conservative as you did in an earlier post.
I am a subscriber to the Heritage Foundation too, so I think we’re on the same page. You’ve concisely explained your position and solution and I find much I like about it because it works!
I am sick to death of hearing our elected offcials say “something has to be done” and then hear them give the same old false choices, with emphasis on the warm and fuzzy, “pathway to citizenahip, fines, back to the end of the line.” Yeah, right. All are scams to fool us.

Adding a posting from yesterday by LaLydia - see the last three for emphasis.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning last November’s Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...”
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to 20 million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
Yes, we’ve now established his party is “Donner.”
I have to admire her loyalty as well, I just think she will get burned. McCain will drop her like a hot potato if it is to his advantage. I think she just believes in goodness of people, until they do a Couric. Naive is more the word, can’t fault her for that either. She is just a very nice person, and I hate to see her hurt again.
Great post.
The U.S. adds one international migrant (net) every 36 seconds. Immigrants account for one in 8 U.S. residents, the highest level in more than 80 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest it has been in our history. And by 2050, one in 5 residents of the U.S. will be foreign-born. Currently, 1.6 million legal and illegal immigrants settle in the country each year; 350,000 immigrants leave each year, resulting in a net immigration of 1.25 million.
Since 1970, the U.S. population has increased from 203 million to 309 million, i.e., over 100 million. In the next 40 years, the population will increase by 130 million to 439 million. Three-quarters of the increase in our population since 1970 and the projected increase will be the result of immigration. The U.S., the worlds third most populous nation, has the highest annual rate of population growth of any developed country in the world, i.e., 0.975 percent (2009 estimate), principally due to immigration.
Many if not most will produce children who then are instant citizens; family members still in Mexico or other countries (SA, ME)join them to continue swelling the population. Yet this doesnt seem to concern you???? Ever hear of La Raza?
You’re very kind. I see a lot of typos, but that’s me...lol.
kabar made the great post, IMO.
Good night, I am going to bed.
Good night, (((kabar)))
Thanks for posting with me.
Bears repeating, saving and passing it onto ‘elected office holders.

It is not only the illegals already here, but the 70 to 100 million more who will come in thru chain migration, i.e., family reunification. Robert Rector, The Heritage Foundation, estimated that the 2006 Hagel-Martinez amnesty bill would have brought in 66 million more legal immigrants over a 20 year period assuming there were only 12 million illegals here. So we are talking about adding 78 million at a minimum.

JD's old website from his congressional runs used to be still up somewhere. Take a look if you can find it. It's hilarious. The district done did goeded all the ways to Fort Verde an' them country folk up theres. He had no idea where or what Hart's Prairie was. He'd go into Globe/Miami and start talking "Here I am in the Cobre Valley again. I always like comin' up here to the Cobre Valley. The Cobre Valley is like a second home to me here in the Cobre Valley". Aside from a few businesses and civic organizations that have it in their names, no one calls it the Cobre Valley anymore. I've never heard the term from anyone else. JD was lost outside of Phoenix.
BINGO! Exactly!
Serious stuff, huh?
Time to save our nation!!!
Now .. the Haitians are coming .. the Haitians are coming.
And the Palestinians ...
Kudos to you, kabar!
What? I know about the Haitains... 200,000 are HERE, and more coming.... how many?
What’s this crap about Pali’s?
