I like most of what Glenn has to say. By comparison, to the leading talking heads on CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS, Glenn is a breath of fresh air free of the smell of stale BO.

You can look at Mao for the early aspects of the movement and watch the idiot Hugo Chavez for what happens when this disease hits a once vibrant economy.
Other examples would be the Russian revolution, post WWI and II Eastern Europe. All sorts of things could be discussed as symptoms of socialism and how it takes over a people and it's governments.

Yes. That's the point. We've been losing the cultural war to the progressives since the 1930s, but mostly since the 1960s. "Liberalism" is progressive "lite." Political Correctness, which is killing this country and making it unsafe from terrorists, is progressivism.
The main point is that Barack Hussein 0bama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, etc. all the people in power, are progressives. And they derive their name and their history straight from Karl Marx, through hitler, stalin, mao to che guevara, castro, kim jong il, etc.
The culture war is REAL. Progressives are trying to kill western culture, especially American independence and capitalist economy.

Beck need to make this into a CD and distribute it to all high schools in the US....I’m sure there would be plenty of people who would help finance and distribute it.
In 1999, I was in Kherson, Ukraine, drinking some Slavutich beer in a small kitchen with my fiance’ and some friends. I mentioned to Luda, a Russian Communist lawyer for the shipbuilding industry (in her day)with influence and power over 2500 people, the fact that Stalin was responsible for the death of millions of Ukranian people. She screamed NO! NO! NO-O-O! at me with such venom and hatred in her eyes that I knew if I said more there could be big trouble. They still had a strong police presence, and it certainly wasn’t Kansas anymore. I think she missed the old days.

Telling the truth is never dangerous. Hiding the truth serves only to perpetuate the lies of tyrants.
In America, telling the truth should not require courage, it should be the norm for journalists.
