Since you are blocking posting privileges for our readers we are citing you for copyright violation.
One of your posters has re-published an original article in its entirety. This is stealing intellectual property from a non-profit organization. Either pull it down or hear from the lawyers.
You have 24 hours and you are now obligated to prove that it was removed. If you do not respond we will commence with legal action.

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell
The New Media Journal is a division of BasicsProject.org, a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) research and education initiative whose mission is the reintroduction of the American citizenry to our constitutional ideology and to educate the public on critical issues facing our nation, chiefly, the threats of radical Islam and the advancing American Fifth Column.
But with snotbag attitudes like theirs, we're probably better off without 'em.
In all seriousness, the incident doesn’t speak well for him. How could anyone take him seriously when he steals other peoples work, posts it here, then makes threats when FR objects? Very immature.
I’m tempted to report him. Just for fun.
LOL! It's the attitude and the pic!
I’ve got no beef with the guy. If he doesn’t want his stuff posted here we’ll remove it and block his site. We always comply with the pull requests made by lamestream media or lame-assed bloggers who claim copyright protection (even if they did post the material themselves or encourage others to post it).
Nuking/zotting in progress.
I noticed one source he has copied from is Wired. I have a close friend who is a reporter with them and we’ve discussed their unwillingness to share content. I may send her some links.
You are correct, it does not speak well of him at all. If his blog is of any value then he doesn’t need to engage in “theft of intellectual property”, pass it off as his own, pimp it and then throw a temper tantrum when he gets booted.
I don’t expect him to be around very much longer.
Yea Jim! :-)
Quite honestly, I would. FR has posting rules and he objected. Maybe he needs to see why we have the rules.
You're right. See post 145. His blog will last until he steals from the wrong source.
He posted very rarely but I remember liking one of his writings. He hasn't posted here since 6/22/07.
I would do it too. He refused to follow the posting rules here and needs to know WHY there are rules.
Check yer email, Sir.
Okey dokey. Never heard of the site. Guess I haven’t missed much.
New Media Journal, roger. What a thoroughly silly thing to pick a fight about. Looks like he figures he doesn’t need FR’s hits. He may be surprised at what that really means. Not our problem.
Biography last night was about Rodney Dangerfield. At one time Dangerfield was really wanting to get on the Tonight Show because that was the big time for a stand up comic. His big problem was that he thought Johnny Carson stole a joke and wrote an angry letter to him and Carson took offense. After several months of rejection from the Tonight Show he happened to see Carson in a nightclub and sincerely apologized for the angry letter. Carson had him on in weeks and Dangerfield hit the big time.
You sir is Johnny Carson and Free Republic is the Tonight Show. This fool and his blog is Rodney Dangerfield. If he is as smart as Rodney he would get on his knees asking for forgiveness.
How dumb is Frank Salvato?
He’s so dumb, that if he was being regularly seduced by a hot, sexy school teacher, who was not only having great sex with him, but teaching him as a young man everything he needed to know about pleasing women ..... he’d tell.
LOL.
IATZ!
